Around 7:30 this morning our TRT responded to a stolen vehicle travelling on the N2 towards Amanzimtoti. Tracker was tracking the stolen vehicle as it was heading south.
Ashley from our TRT intercepted the vehicle along Moss Kolnik as it was coming past Galleria Shopping Centre. Along with SAPS members, Ashley chased the vehicle into Kwa Makhutha along the M37.

This morning around 9:20 am a local business in Amanzimtoti was robbed at gun point of an undisclosed amount of cash. A CCPO supervisor and his crew fell into the situation, as they left their office, it happened around the corner from them.
They followed the suspects along Kingsway in a northerly direction.
When the suspects realised they were being followed, they opened fire on Rupert and his crew. The info was relayed on the CCPO network.

Earlier this morning our guard at Pointsettia Park called in a suspicious motor vehicle that was parked opposite the site on Kingsway.
